An Investigation of Wind Turbine Blade

Abstract
The wind is a natural source of energy which has been used effectively over the times for mechanical purposes such as the case of Windmill and recently for electrical purposes such as wind turbines. The growing global economy and the increasing demand for ecological energy resources helped significantly in developing new technologies to produce electricity from the wind. This project was aimed to determine the optimum angle of attack of a given aerofoil. The aerofoil of a wind turbine is tested in a closed wind tunnel and simulated with Computational fluid dynamic software after reversing the blade. The project is achieved with success but results can also be improved.
