An Overview of Localization Methods for Multi-Agent Systems
Journal Title: International Journal of engineering Research and Applications - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
Localization of multi-agent systems is a fundamental requirement for multi-agent systems to operate and cooperate properly. The problem of localization can be divided into two categories; one in which a -priori information is available and the second where the global position is to be asce rtained without a-priori information. This paper gives a comprehensive survey of localization techniques that exist in the literature for both the categories with the objectives of knowing the current state-of-the-art, helping in selecting the proper approach in a given scenario and promoting research in this area. A detailed description of methods that exist in the literature are provided in considerable detail. Then these methods are compared, and their weaknesses and strengths are discussed. Finally, some future research recommendations are drawn out of this survey.

Single-Hole Charging in Self-Assembled Silicon Nanostructures
Firstly, we present ultra-shallow (5-30 nm) diffusion profiles performed by short-time boron diffusion from the gas phase into the n-type Si(100) wafer using controlled surface injection of self-interstitials and vacanci...
Performance Study of Square Footing Resting Over Geo-Grid Reinforced Sand
Decreasing availability of good construction sites and increasing construction activities for infrastructural developments throughout the world has forced the civil engineers to utilize unsuitable sites or weak soil. So...
Community Analysis of Fashion Coordination Using a Distance of Categorical Data Sets
While various clustering methods have been proposed for categorical data, few studies exist on the clustering of the categorical variables that are represented as item sets (groups), e.g. fashion coordination data. In or...
Computation of Liquid Crystal Display Device Parameters Through Image Analysis
It has become a challenging problem now a days to select a liquid crystal material best suited for electro-optical display. Image analysis technique in conjunction with polarizing optical microscope is proposed to determ...
Does a Hybrid Approach of Agile and Plan-Driven Methods Work Better for IT System Development Projects?
With a focus on large-scale IT system development projects in diverse enterprises, this research suggests that a hybrid approach combining agile and plan-driven management methods should fit in a wider context of specifi...
