An Overview on the Concept of Logistics 4.0 Concept: Development and Change from Past to Present

Abstract
New technologies need to be integrated into the activities in order to make the performances of increasingly complex logistics activities sustainable due to the diversity of customers' demands. Augmented reality, defined as enriching the real world with audio, video, photos and similar information coming from the virtual world, is in among the new technologies that have been mentioned. In this study, the effects of augmented reality technology, which is very popular in recent years, on the application areas of logistics activities and logistics activities are discussed. For this purpose, a basic research are done first about the augmented reality technology. Later in the direction of making the logistics activities accurate, fast, low cost and high efficiency, the gains that the augmented reality provided to the logistics processes will be determined.
