ANALISYS OF THE MEASURES FOR MONTENEGRIAN BANKING SYSTEM PROTECTION FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS

Abstract
As globalization becomes more extensive, the spillover effect of the financial crises is intensifying more than ever before. Unfortunatelly, globalization means breaking not only barriers that lags international capital flows but also ones that block transmision of financial crises. In that circumstances we need to rethink the hidden causes and paths of financial crises and their consequences not only at global but aslo at national levels. The aim of this article is to briefly analyze Montenegrin banking sector and the measures for protection of the banking system in Montenegro from the consequnces of global financial crisis.
