ANALISYS OF THE METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE LABOR POTENTIAL ASSESSMENT

Abstract
The subject of the article is the methodological approaches to the labor potential assessment. The purpose of the article is identifying and analysis of the basic methodological approaches to the labor potential assessment. The methodology used in the article: analysis and synthesis method, systematic approach, comparative analysis. The article results: based on the analysis of the literature, the basic methodological approaches to the labor potential assessment are identified, namely: resource approach (bases on the using of the absolute and relative indicators system), factor approach (takes into account the influence of the various factors on the labor potential), result approach (involves the labor potential assessment for the direct labor results), cost approach (bases on the analysis of the costs of the labor potential), integral approach (includes traditional, expert and coefficient approaches) (involves the formation of the integral index of the labor potential) and subjective approach (involves the assessment of the labor potential of the worker (or person claiming for the vacant post occupation) by the expert with using pre-made tests, issues, models and simulation situations); based on the analysis of the identified methodological approaches, theirs main advantages and disadvantages are defined. The field of the article results application: economy of the labor and social-labor relations (researches related to the assessment of the labor potential at any level of its manifestation: personal, enterprise (micro level), regional (mezo level) or national (macro level)). Conclusions: the choice of the methodological approach for the labor potential assessment depends greatly not only on the advantages and disadvantages of some method, but also on the labor potential manifestation level, purposes and objectives of its assessment.
