Abstract
The medieval site of Şibot (Alba County) was investigated in 2012 and consequently dated to the 15th century. The settlement was destroyed during the battle of Câmpul Pâinii (October 13, 1479). The present paper presents the results of the anthropological analysis of a burial within the Medieval settlement. The presented data contributes to a better image of the life and death during the above mentioned period. Aşezarea medievală de la Şibot (jud. Alba) a fost cercetată în anul 2012, fiind datată în secolul al XV‐lea şi distrusă în timpul bătăliei de la Câmpul Pâinii (13 octombrie 1479). Articolul de faţă prezintă rezultatele analizei antropologice a unui schelet descoperit în așezarea medievală. Datele prezentate întregesc imaginea generală a vieţii și morții în perioada mai sus amintită
