Abstract
The article presents the results of measuring the braking distance of a motorcycle using a front wheel brake, a rear wheel brake and a combination of both these brakes. Attempts of an intensive braking of a motorcycle were carried out on dry asphalt surface with both on and off ABS. Based on the measured braking distance, the mean deceleration time was calculated.
