Analiza rynku usług kolejowych w Polsce

Abstract
This paper describes the condition of rail transport in Poland in the period from 2010 to 2016. It lists the most significant rail carriers in 2016 providing passenger and cargo transport. Chosen components of transport infrastructure and fleet used to provide passenger and cargo transport services are characterized. The aim of this paper is also to compare rail services provided in our country with other means of transport. Information was provided on the number of passengers who were carried in the given period and on the most popular directions of their travel. Also data on the carried weight of cargo and information about transported groups of cargo in Poland by rail and by road transport were presented.
