ANALYSIS AND ASSESSMENT OF NON-LINEAR CHARACTERISTICS OF EPILEPTIC EEG SIGNALS

Abstract
The scientific article investigates the use of the Hurst index and the complexity indicators in the study of normal constant brain dynamics and hypersynchronous. High dimensional complexity and relatively low and unstable levels of neural network synchronization characterize the state of tranquility, and epileptic seizures are characterized by “high” level nonlinear dynamics. The Hurst index and complexity indices differ in normal and pathological conditions, which can help researchers, develop effective methods for predicting and preventing epileptic seizures.
