ANALYSIS AND COMPARISION OF SRG AND DFIG FOR WIND GENERATION APPLICATION
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTERS & TECHNOLOGY - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
Renewable energy is very important topic to be study to find new sources of energy to produce electricity. The main advantages of the renewable energy are available, clean, low cost, and continuous energy. The main objective of this paper is to document the comparative and absolute advantages and disadvantages of using Switched Reluctance Generator (SRG‟s) and Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG‟s) in wind generation. The comparative study is based on the machine parameters like inductance, flux linkage, torque, output power, weight and cost. Performance analysis has been carried out using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The predicted results show SRG‟S has the optimal choice for Wind Generation.

Identifying Network Anomalies Using Clustering Technique in Weblog Data
In this paper we present an approach for identifying networkanomalies by visualizing network flow data which is stored inweblogs. Various clustering techniques can be used to identifydifferent anomalies in the network. H...
To Control Electrical MCBs using Hand Gesture Recognition
There has been growing interest in development of new techniques and methods for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Gesture Recognition is one of the important areas of this technology. Gesture Recognition means interfaci...
Performance Analysis of Amplify and Forward Cooperative Networks over Rayleigh and Nakagami-m Channels based Relaying Selection
In this paper investigates the performance, analysis of amplify and forward (AF) cooperative networks with the relay selection over  Nakagami-m and Rayleigh fading channels and  M-ary phase shift keying (MPSK) modulati...
IMPLEMENTATION OF SVM USING SEQUENTIAL MINIMAL OPTIMIZATION FOR POWER TRANSFORMER FAULT ANALYSIS USING DGA
Reliable operations of power transformers are necessary for effective transmission and distribution of power supply. During normal functions of the power transformer, distinct types of faults occurs due to insulation fai...
