ANALYSIS OF CAUSES TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The number of traffic accidents and their consequences in recent years is analyzed in this article, as well as general description of the level of traffic safety and road accidents is given. The study of this problem is relevant, since the analysis of statistical data on the number of accidents indicates a low level of traffic safety and high accident rate on highways. This issue is concerned to all road users. Having worked out the statistics of an accident in recent years, it has been established that the number and consequences of accidents increase every year, respectively, accident rate is reduced. So, for increasing of traffic safety, following measures are needed the the installation of video surveillance cameras on the roads both in and out of settlements, imple- mentation of strict control over high-speed mode, increase of fines for violation of the Rules of the traffic;
