ANALYSIS OF FREQUENCY OF DIFFERENT GENOTYPES IL-28B (RS12979860) IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEPATITIS C, LIVING IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF UKRAINE

Abstract
Th e article presents the results of genetic investigation (genotype IL-28B) of 272 patients with chronic hepatitis C who live in diff erent regions of Ukraine. Th e results of patients’ examination were obtained during realization of the project “Evidence-based medicine – marker of success in hepatitis C treatment. Economic and social effi ciency” by the staff of the International Alliance of HIV/AIDS in Ukraine. Th e analysis of the genotypes between patients (by regions) and virological response to antiviral therapy was performed.
