Analysis of norms of national legislation in the field of countering financing terrorism in Ukraine

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the norms of the national legislation and the main directions of the improvement of legislation in the field of combating the financing of terrorism in Ukraine. The normative and legal acts are considered as international (ratified by the Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine) and national level, which regulate the issues in this sphere. The concept, the main subjects, their powers and responsibility of persons for the financing of terrorism in Ukraine, as well as obligatory signs of financing of terrorism in accordance with the Criminal Code of Ukraine are defined. In addition, the statistics for the last three years are provided for the financing of terrorism and for bringing these persons to criminal responsibility. The reasons for the imperfection of the practice of applying the norms of the national legislation and the issue of improving the domestic legislation in the area of combating terrorism in Ukraine are determined.
