Analysis of practices in the area of investor relations in Polish and German listed companies

Abstract
The paper presents a theoretical-empirical study comprising a comparative analysis of the standards of good corporate governance practices in the area of creating investor relations websites, used in Polish and German listed companies. The paper consists of three parts. The first part includes the essence of investor re- lations, as one of the most important generators of market value of the company. The second part contains the analysis of modern (electronic) communication tools in the area of investor relations and the best practices in the area of creating inves- tor relations websites. The third part contains the results of empirical research on the quality of investor relations websites in Polish and German companies, which are listed on the WIG30 and DAX indices).
