ANALYSIS OF THE INDICATORS OF ARMAMENT OF THE LEADING COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD AND THE BUILD-UP OF THE ARMS RACE AS A GLOBAL PROBLEM OF MANKIND

Abstract
In the article, based on data processing and rating analysis, the main trends of the arms race, as well as the strategy for the development of military-industrial policy, defense complex, militarization of the economy and the military state of the leaders and aggressor countries are considered. The essence of the basic concepts concerning the country's weapons, such as "state military-industrial policy", "arms race", "defense-industrial complex", is explored. A comparative analysis of military expenditures, armed forces, exports and imports of weapons from different countries was carried out. Using the above indicators, leaders have been identified that pose a real threat to the war. Trends in changing these indicators are presented graphically. The article lists the countries that have nuclear weapons and the consequences that it can have for the environment. On the basis of the analysis, it was discovered that in recent years the weapons of countries have increased massively and, accordingly, the arms race has increased. After analyzing the above-mentioned indicators, the authors identified trends for each of these, as well as the general implications of stimulating disarmament of countries, and suggested solutions to the problems of the threat of war.
