Analysis of the influence of angular speed on the wear of a trapezoidal toothed timing belt
Journal Title: Recueil de mécanique - Year 2019, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
Timing belts are essential elements in automobile mechanics. Notched and tensioned, the belt allows the engine components to act synchronously. Its function is mainly to drive the crankshaft and the camshaft, which themselves drive the engine pistons and valves. A broken belt inevitably has dramatic consequences for the engine. We have highlighted in this article, the influence of the rotational speed and the motor torque on the wear of an AT10 toothed belt. This is to qualify this study through experimentation.
Numerical study of the chimney-collector junction geometry influence on the solar chimney performances
The aim of this work is to study the influence of the chimney-collector junction geometry on the performance of the solar chimney CCS. Three geometries are chosen for this study: perpendicular, curved and inclined. A mat...
Temperature evaluation on a transmission by timing belt «Binder magnetic»
Transmissions by synchronous belts combine the advantages of transmissions by single belts (plates, trapezoidal or striated) due to their low weight, their low maintenance, great beaches of linear speeds and big transmis...
Study of aerosol deposition in 90° bend turbulent flow using Lagrangian RANS approach
This work presents a numerical study of turbulent flow of a gas loaded with particles with various diameters in a 90° bend. This study can be an effective way to predict the dispersion and deposition of aerosol in transp...
Modeling the radiate and energy balance of a building located in the Adrar region
In this paper, we study the effect of temperature and external solar flow on the evolution of daily solar radiation incidental on the walls of a building located in the ADARAR region of Algeria. The numerical simulations...
Numerical investigation of a laminar flow in a tubular chain of a heated floor slab
The present work deals with a numerical study of a laminar flow in a tubular string of a floor slab based on a model of stabilization algorithms that of Gauss and Thomas. The transport equations for the motion amount and...
