Analysis of the intermediate consumptions factors of input-output tables by the data of Ukrainian and EU statistical services
Journal Title: Проблеми загальної енергетики - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 4
Abstract
We give the description and results of work of the new software suite, which is used for preparing initial data for calculations with applying input-output models. The suite enables one to aggregate data from input-output balance, which is developed annually by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine in the format of MS Excel spreadsheets, and to process this information for determining the intermediate consumption factors. We present the calculated factors obtained with using data from the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine for 2012–2015 and Statistical Bureau of the European Union for 2005–2007. It is shown that data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine cannot be used in input-output models due to significant discrepancies between the years, but, at the same time, EU data are completely suitable for use in the Leontieff model.

Calculation of liquid cooling in film cooling towers with a profiled sprinkler surface
We have developed a method for calculating the degree of liquid cooling in film cooling towers with a profiled sprinkler surface under the conditions of quiescent air and intense blowing about the water film. The method...

Advanced technical approach to identify appropriate energy saving potential in energy-intensive economic activities
It was improved the technique for determining the economically appropriate energy saving potential due to changes in the registering the statistical reporting (introduction of KVED-2010 to replace KVED-2005) and in law (...
Ukraine's power station coal production pattern and potential
It is established that Ukraine has to import power station coal due to the decline in coal output in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts caused by combat operations and the resulting decrease in coal reserves at its thermal powe...
