Analysis of the microscopic-macroscopic structure in real fluid flow
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2013, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper presents new results concerning the physical coexistence of the molecular chaos and the continuous determinism in real fluid flows. By using the FLUONS mathematical devices [1], the authors investigate the existence of a physical process called MOLECULAR COHERENCE. This particular kind of structure equilibrium needs the fulfilment of the conditions required by the increasing entropy and the minimum of the kinetical as well as the informational energy. Qualitative and quantitative results concerning the fluctuations in real fluid flows support this new point of view in Fluid Mechanics.

Aluminum/glass fibre and aluminum/carbon fibre hybrid laminates
The metal/fibre hybrid laminates consist of an alternation of 0.2 ÷ 0.5 mm metallic sheets (Aluminum or Titanium in Aeronautical Engineering) and pre-pregs made of unidirectional carbon or aramid or glass fibre or of th...
Performance evaluation of propulsion systems as LEO deorbiting devices
This paper evaluates the possibility of deorbiting a launch vehicle upper-stage at end-of-mission from low Earth orbit, by using an additional propulsion system as a means of achieving deorbiting and complying with the “...
Numerical simulations on increasing turbojet engines exhaust mixture ratio using fluidic chevrons
This paper refers to some aspects regarding the terms “chevron” and “fluidic chevron” and to the process of increasing the jet engines exhaust mixing rate towards achieving noise reduction. One of the noise reduction met...
Numerical illustration of the global and local stability and instability of the constant spatially developing 2D gas flow
In this paper different types of stabilities (global, local) with respect to instantaneous perturbations and permanent source produced time harmonic perturbations are numerically illustrated in case of a constant spatial...
Aerodynamic Interference between Oscillating Lifting Surfaces and Fuselage Part 5: A Panel Method for Non-Lifting Bodies
In the fifth article of our series we will deal with the calculation of the unsteady aerodynamic forces on non-lifting bodies. We present here a contribution to the problem of the flow about non-lifting bodies. It is a p...
