Analysis of the microscopic-macroscopic structure in real fluid flow
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2013, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper presents new results concerning the physical coexistence of the molecular chaos and the continuous determinism in real fluid flows. By using the FLUONS mathematical devices [1], the authors investigate the existence of a physical process called MOLECULAR COHERENCE. This particular kind of structure equilibrium needs the fulfilment of the conditions required by the increasing entropy and the minimum of the kinetical as well as the informational energy. Qualitative and quantitative results concerning the fluctuations in real fluid flows support this new point of view in Fluid Mechanics.

Boundary Vorticity Dynamics at Very Large Reynolds Numbers
During the last century, the theoretical investigations in the boundary vorticity dynamics were based on the concept of a fluid of small-constant viscosity, i.e. the Newtonian fluid, described by the non-slip condition a...
Flap Gap Oscillatory Blowing on 2D and 2.5D Wing
Here we present preliminary results obtained in developing an active flow control system for high lift systems at advanced TRL level. The work is based on theoretical and experimental work performed in AVERT EU FP6 proje...
Trigger event – a key factor in adverse Aircraft/Rotorcraft Pilot Couplings
An important element that interacts unfavorably with pilot and aircraft is the triggering event. Without a trigger event (or a chain of triggering events) A/RPC does not appear. This study presents an overview of diffe...
Leading Edge Device Aerodynamic Optimization
Leading edge devices are conventionally used as aerodynamic devices that enhance performances during landing and in some cases during takeoff. The need to increase the efficiency of the aircrafts has brought the idea of...
