ANALYSIS OF THE MODERN APPROACHES OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN THE REGION (ODESA REGION CASE)

Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of financial support of small and medium enterprises in the Odessa region and prospects of development of this sector at the regional level. As a result, the theoretical basis and practical recommendations for deepening the study of regional development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Odessa region were grounded, as well as the importance of financial stimulation of SMEs in the region for the purpose of its economic development. The research showed that the development of the SME sector is an integral part of the transformation of the centralized economy into developed; a policy designed to promote and support the development of small and medium businesses requires a local / regional approach.
