ANALYSIS OF THE RAW MATERIAL BASE, PRODUCTION AND SALES OF DAIRY PRODUCTS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Solving the problems of the dairy industry and developing strategies for further development are impossible without their deep analysis and understanding. The issue of the development of the raw material base of dairy processing enterprises today is one of the key issues in the industry. This research is aimed at analyzing the functioning of dairy processing enterprises and producers of raw milk in the present economic conditions. The purpose of the study is to establish the regularities of the functioning of milk processing enterprises by analyzing the dynamics of milk production and determining its impact on the milk processing industry. The research objects are milk processing enterprises and private producers of dairy industry. The study uses the information of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, secondary analytical information on scientific works and specialized information sources. Statistical methods are used, including method of analysis of the series of dynamics, tabular and graphical method. According to the findings of this study it can be argued about the need for further development and expansion of the raw material base in the dairy industry of Ukraine. According to the authors, the problem of fragmentation of Ukrainian milk producers is gaining considerable weight in determining the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the development of the dairy industry.
