Analysis of the Species Composition of Bloodsucking Mosquitoes in Odessa Region

Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of the species composition of bloodsucking mosquitoes collected in 2011–2012 by the specialist of the laboratory for epizootiology of especially dangerous infections in Kominternivske, Berezivka, Kiliia, Bilaiivka and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts of the Odessa region. There was identified a numerical dominance of species of family Culicidae (Culex pipiens) — one of the main carriers of many dangerous human and animal diseases.
