ANALYSIS OF THE WORK OF THREE-PHASE TIRISTOR SWITCHES-RECIPROCATORS

Abstract
The modes of operation and the possibilities of using the switching devices based on three-phase half-wave and full-wave semi-controlled AC voltage rectifier of electrical installations are analyzed with the aim of optimizing their electrical parameters and increasing the speed and reliability of work. The main area of application such switching devices in electrical automation systems is the control of electromagnets DC, which is due, above all, its high speed and practically unlimited resource of current limitation and power regulation in networks up to 10 kV, the possibility of synchronous regulation, control and switching of various types of loads. The introduction of powerful controlled thyristor switches allowed the creation of contactless switching and regulating devices that can effectively solve problems of high-speed control, shutdown and current limitation in various electrical systems, which contributes to the creation of a qualitatively new level of protection of such systems from reloads. The analysis was carried out under the following initial conditions: symmetry of the three-phase system of the mains voltage; linearity of the load of the switching device; Ideal electronic keys and infinite power of the supply network. The thyristor controlled devices allow to determine on the basis of the found dependencies for the time and switching currents, the necessary parameters of electrical circuits for a wide class of multifunctional non-contact electrical devices, which allows significantly raise the technical capabilities of modern systems in the electric power industry to a qualitatively new level.
