Analysis of Tolerance and Sleep Time in Sleep Mode Scheduling Energy Saving Technique in Time Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Networks
Journal Title: International Journal of Computer Science & Engineering Technology - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 8
Abstract
Huge energy resources (electricity) are consumed by the telecom-equipments in broadband enable access technologies. There is current need to minimize the energy consumption in access network technologies especially in passive optical network. This paper aims to analysis and observes the energy consumption in Sleep Mode Scheduling Technique Energy Saving in TDM-PON by analysing tolerance and sleep time parameters.

RDF method to improve ontology using RDF algorithm
A Relation description frame work we used semantic based collections using crawlers. The semantic matching and relevancy are made and improved results are obtained. RDF helps us to generate a hierarchy based tree structu...
IMPLEMENTATION OF IMAGE PROCESSING ALGORITHMS ON THE PARALLEL PLATFORM USING MATLAB
Application with sequential algorithm can no longer rely on technology scaling to improve performance. Image processing applications exhibits high degree of parallelism and are excellent source for multicore platform. Ma...
ANALYSIS OF LAND SURFACE TEMPERTURE AND PREDICTING THE UNKNOWN VALUES USING SPATIAL INTERPOLATION METHODS
This paper compares five spatial interpolation methods of Kriging-exponential, Krigingspherical,Kriging- Gaussian with different weighting values are unity and 1/Standard Deviation in temperature interpolation,utilizing...
ACCESSING DISTRIBUTED SERVICES WITH ONE TIME TOKEN GENERATION
Many services which we use today require us to login to ensure security and confidentiality. As the number of services increase, it has become quite difficult to remember the username and password for each of them. In th...
Named Entity Recognition in Punjabi Using Hidden Markov Model
Named Entity Recognition (NER) is a task to discover the Named Entities (NEs) in a document and then categorize these NEs into diverse Named Entity classes such as Name of Person, Location, River, Organization etc. Since...
