Analysis of Uzbekistan GDP dynamics and the way of providing its sustainable growth

Abstract
The article gives a detailed analysis of the level of economic growth in Uzbekistan. The work is devoted to the study of factors affecting sustainable economic growth and the justification of their role in improving the efficiency of the national economy. During the research, the relevant changes in investment indicators for 1996–2016 were studied. During this period, the average level of economic growth in Uzbekistan was 6.5%, of which 2.5% was provided at the expense of capital, 1.7% — labour and 2.3% — factors of the combination of productivity. Recommendations are given on the main directions of the development of the national economy for ensuring long–term sustainable economic growth. In particular, to ensure sustainable economic growth, it is necessary to increase labour efficiency in the economy, to reduce hidden unemployment, and to formulate policies aimed at encouraging the optimal allocation of labour across sectors.
