ANALYSIS OF UZBEKISTAN POSITION IN THE GLOBAL RANKING OF ELECTRONIC GOVERNMENT SERVICES

Abstract
The given article presents the study regarding Uzbekistan has achieved a significant milestone in the field of digital governance. In 2024, the country ranked 63rd in the United Nations’ E-Government Development Index (EGDI), marking a leap of six positions compared to the previous year. With an EGDI score of 0.79, it surpasses the average of 0.76 for low- and middle-income countries. The state services system has undergone transformation through the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (my.gov.uz), which now offers more than 700 electronic public services. This digital progress is based on a reliable telecommunications infrastructure (score: 0.87), the development of human capital (score: 0.75), and improved online services (score: 0.76). The government's bold goal of fully digitizing public services by 2030 demonstrates its commitment to reducing bureaucracy and providing services in a more convenient format. This detailed analysis shows how Uzbekistan has achieved a higher ranking. The key factors behind its digital transformation and how these changes impact citizen services have been examined.
