Analysis on the literature review and development frontier of "carbon lock-in" research based on bibliometrics
Journal Title: Energy Environmental Protection - Year 2024, Vol 38, Issue 3
Abstract
An analysis of the literature review of "carbon lock-in" research would be crucial for promoting low-carbon research. This paper collects Chinese and foreign literature on "carbon lock-in" from 2000 to 2022 and reviews "carbon lock-in" research with a focus on dynamic evolution and lock-out mechanisms. This paper also applies bibliometric analysis software to sort literature and reveal crucial issues using strategic coordinate charts, analyzing dissertation characteristics and keywords to uncover trends. Results show that foreign research on "carbon lock-in" produces a higher volume of publications, team size and cooperation intensity compared to domestic research. The main research direction of domestic "carbon lock-in" research is low-carbon and sustainable development, while foreign research focuses on global climate and energy development. In the future, scholars need to explore the differential influence of regional and industrial factors on carbon lock-in and build a dynamic assessment model integrating industry and regional synergy to promote global carbon emissions reduction.

Effects of intermittent power-on and electrode inversion on anaerobic co-digestion of sludge and food waste in MEC-CSTR system
The rapid urbanization has led to the discharge and generation of large amounts of organic solid waste, such as sewage sludge (SS) and food waste (FW). The introduction of a microbial electrolysis cell (MEC) into the ana...
Recent progress in metal-substrate supported monolithic catalysts for CO_2 methanation
With the goal of carbon neutrality, CO_2 methanation technology can not only solve the environmental problems caused by CO_2 emissions, but also convert CO_2 into CH_4 to alleviate problems such as the energy shortages....
Advances in the removal of emerging contaminants from water mediated by chemically modified biochar
Emerging contaminants are pollutants with relatively low concentration but high toxicity. They can be enriched in living organisms and transferred to the human body through the food chain, posing a significant threat to...
Advances in Research on Antidepressant Contamination of Water Bodies and Treatment Technologies
The widespread use of pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs, including antidepressants, and other compounds) has raised significant concerns about the impact on aquatic ecosystems and human health. Among thes...
Peraceti cacid disinfection characteristics and application progress in wastewater treatment plants
Disinfection is an essential process in wastewater treatment. Chlorine disinfection is a commonly used chemical disinfectant, but it produces harmful by-products that pose threats to human health and the ecological envir...
