Analysis QoS Parameters for MANETs Routing Protocols
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
A Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a decentralized network of autonomous mobile nodes able to communicate with each other over wireless links. We selected three routing protocols DSDV, DSR and AODV for measuring QoS parameters. We have used the network simulator ns-2 for simulating routing protocols using group mobility model, and present the results of simulations of networks of 40 wireless mobile nodes.

Collaborative Filtering Based Recommendation System: A survey
the most common technique used for recommendations is collaborative filtering. Recommender systems based on collaborative filtering predict user preferences for products or services by learning past user-item relationshi...
Zone Routing Protocol Using Anycast Addressing For Ad-Hoc Network
Zone Routing Protocol (ZRP) is a hybrid protocol that combines the advantages of both the proactive and reactive protocols. It is classified as: Intra Zone Routing, which uses hop count of the Nneighbors using proactive...
A Model Driven approach for Applicationspecific Mismatch Detection
Several large-scale systems are developed in modules that are assembled together to deliver a desired functionality. The modules developed in isolation may not implement the desired requirements. It creates several probl...
A Study on Similarity Computations in Template Matching Technique for Identity Verification
This paper describes a study on the development of a human face verification system by merely using template matching (TM) as the main verification engine. In contrast to common face recognition techniques, our approach...
Energy Efficient Event Driven Data Reporting System for Wireless Sensor Network
Power conservation is important in sensor devices since battery life is usually one of the critical components in extending the life time of the sensor network. Cluster technology that enables a group of sensor working c...
