The difference was significant (P < 0.05). Low BMI was seen in 290 males and 250 females, normal in 110 males and 145 females and high in 80 males and 150 females. Socio- economic status was low in males (325) and females (345), middle in males (110) and females (125) and high in males (45) and females (75). The difference was significant (P < 0.05).
