ANTHROPOGENIC CONTAMINATION DEGREE OF GROUNDWATER WITHIN NORTHERN PART OF TUREK GLACIAL UPLAND

Journal Title: Biuletyn Państwowego Instytutu Geologicznego - Year 2011, Vol 445, Issue 445

Abstract

The objective of this study was to identify the influence of the brown coal mine anthropopresion on chemical composition of groundwater in the Quaternary aquifer and in the Upper Cretaceous aquifer in Turek Glacial Upland. Generally, the water chemistry within Upper Cretaceous aquifer is controlled by natural processes, whereas in the Quaternary aquifer antropogenic influence can be seen.
