Abstract

Abstract: Various methods have been used for analysis of maxillofacial foramina in skulls of human population. The use of 3D laser scanning method have increased in recent years and become more popular. The reasons behind this popularity are of the superior advantages over other scanning methods. This article discusses the detailed use of 3D laser scanning method and highlight important aspects to consider when used.
