Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Applied Medical Sciences - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 11
Abstract
Abstract: Antifungal activity of ethanolic leaf extract of Limoniaacidissima was studied against three common dermatophyticfungai like Trichophytonmentagrophytes, Microsporumcanisand Epidermophytonfloccosumby disc diffusion method and zone of inhibition was determined. Ketoconazle was used as reference control. The ethanolic leaf extract of Limoniaacidissima exhibited antifungal activity against all the three dermatophyticfungai and the effects were comparable with the reference control Ketoconazole.
