Abstract

The author reviews The Bosporan Anthropomorphic Sculptures: Cross-cultural and Interethnic Communications Through Time and Space (Nizhni Novgorod, 2012), by N. V. Moleva, Associate Professor of the Loba-chevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod. The research is based on a study of over three hundred anthropomorphic monuments on the territory of Bosporus, an ancient state that was founded along the Kerch Strait on the northern Black Sea coast.
