Abstract
The article examines fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, its application, and the reasons why the virtual space of videogames is a suitable place for its testing and development. A financial analysis has been made of the international video game company Activision Blizzard, which shows the importance of artificial intelligence for its economic development.
