APPLICATION OF B-SPLINES FOR DETERMINATION OF DEPENDENCE OF ISOBARIC HEAT CAPACITY OF AIR ON TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE

Abstract

The work is devoted to the development of the method of analytical representation of the specific isobaric heat capacity of air with the use of B-splines for the range of temperature and pressure variations typical for compressors of gas turbine engines. The performed calculations confirmed the efficiency of the method and the high accuracy of determining the specific isobaric heat capacity of air on temperature and pressure. The proposed method can be used for gas-dynamic calculations of compressors in which air is used as a working substance.
