Application of [Pyridine-1-SO3H-2-COOH]Cl as an efficient catalyst for the preparation of hexahyroquinolines
Journal Title: Eurasian Chemical Communications - Year 2019, Vol 1, Issue 0
Abstract
Pyridinioum-1-sulfonic acid-2-carboxylic acid chloride {[Pyridine-1-SO3H-2-COOH]Cl} was synthesized and applied as a novel and efficient nanostructured catalyst for the preparation of hexahydroquinolines by the one-pot multi-component condensation reaction of various aryl aldehydes with dimedone (5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,3-dione), β-ketoesters and ammonium acetate under mild and solvent-free conditions. Low cost, nontoxic nature, and simple work-up and excellent yields of products are the main advantages of this work.

An investigation on absorption properties of exfoliated graphite for oil spill from Caspian Sea water
Oil spills are the most important environmental impact in oceans and seas. In this article, Oil absorption, which was explored from Sardar-e-Jangal oilfield in Caspian Sea, by exfoliated graphite (EG), was investigated....
Study of structure and thermal properties of styrene-butylacrylate copolymer with OMMT nanocomposite emulsions
(St-co-BA) polymer through montmorillonite (MMT) nanocomposite emulsion is prepared by in situ intercalative emulsion polymerization of styrene (St), butyl acrylate (BA) in the presence of organic modified montmorillon...
Photosensitization of coronene–purine hybrids for photodynamic therapy
Photosensitization properties of coronene-purine (Cor-P) hybrids for photodynamic therapy (PDT) have been investigated in this work. Eight hybrid Cor-P models have been designed by the additional of adenine (A) and guani...

The mechanism of proton transfer and tautomerism in barbituric acid: A theoretical study
Intermolecular proton transfer in barbituric acid (BA) both in the gas phase and in the presence of water molecule was investigated using the B3LYP method with aug-cc-pVDZ basis set. The overall process involves keto-eno...
