Journal Title: Journal of Economics, Finance and Management Studies - Year 2024, Vol 7, Issue 11
Abstract
Bhatnagar (2007) found that employees who are committed to the organization can create competitive advantages for the organization. Employees who have been working for the organization will become invaluable assets that help create sustainable competitive advantages for the organization. When employees are committed, they will be attached and consider themselves a part of the organization, which will motivate them to contribute to achieving the organization's goals. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify factors affecting employee commitment to the organization. Using the systematic literature review method (SLR), 32 selected articles identified 06 factors affecting employee commitment to the organization in decreasing frequency: Promotion and development opportunities; demographics; job satisfaction; job security; job autonomy; and leadership style. This can be the basis for managers to increase the level of employee commitment to the organization by influencing these factors.
