Abstract
The authors have substantiated the expediency of application of functional systems in building a system of the retail company economic security, which organizes interrelated elements of the system in order to gain a useful adaptation result, at the expense of an activity and thinking of a human as the main manager of the system and its ability to make rapid decisions regarding economic security system management on the basis of certain actions.
