Application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles as a Mobile Monitoring of Fire Hazard

Abstract

This paper describes the concept of mobile system for observation of land in order to detect fire outbreaks. The primary function of this system meets the unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a specialized television cameras and thermal imaging indicating the presence of areas with elevated temperatures, which may be identified as a fire. The system has the possibility of two-way radio communication with the position of command and after minor modifications, can be used to monitor events related to the protection of persons and property as well as ensuring security in conditions of vulnerability to natural disasters and terrorism. Due to the low altitude limit regulations will include a signaling system risks arising from the approximation of the overhead high voltage lines, which will help them bypass the collision.
