Journal Title: Българско списание за обществено здраве (Bulgarian Journal of Public Health) - Year 2015, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
This publication focuses on the opportunities for application of open software libraries for processing medical images stored in DICOM format, and in particular is presented solution for application of threedimensional histograms (3D) of image sequences to create methods for rapid pretreatment comparison. The method, described here, uses an original algorithm for multidimensional non-parametric statistical analysis of semantically related images used in security systems and video processing. Authors focus on specific method features and the necessary changes in the algorithm, which allow to be used in the field of medical image processing.
