Archimedean Copula Estimation Parameter with Kendall Distribution Function
Journal Title: Cumhuriyet Science journal - Year 2017, Vol 38, Issue 4
Abstract
In the literature, up to now, it is common that for Gumbel, Clayton and Frank calculated Kendall Distribution function and to the extent those applications have been made. In this paper, we made Kendall Distribution function calculation for Ali Mikhail Haq and Joe and in relation that simulation study. We generated dependent gamma distribution. For dependency between these variables we used Archimedean copula. In connection with this, we define basic properties of copulas and their nonparametric method. In this study, to explain the relationship between the variables, five Archimedean copula families were used; Gumbel, Clayton, Frank Joe and Ali Mikhail Haq. We obtained nonparametric estimation of these copula families parameters and the suitable Archimedean copula family for this data set.

Investigation of Surface Temperature Differentiation of Fagus and Quercus Stands by Using Landsat Images
While climatic features of regions affect the variety of tree species and their structures, the vegetation structures of the regions are effective on micro climate. In this study, thermal differentiations in the Fagus a...
WOA-Miner: Classification Rule Discovery Using Whale Optimization Algorithm
This paper proposes a rule discovery tool for classification by using whale optimization algorithm that simulates the foraging behavior of humpback whales. Rule extraction is based on the optimization of randomly selecte...
Chemometric Evaluation of the Heavy Metal Contents in Surface Soils from the Dilovası Region (Kocaeli/Turkey)
Chemometric methods were used to assess the contamination of heavy metals (As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn) and to classify the contents of heavy metals of surface soil samples taken from 10 locations in Dilova...
Determination of Trace Levels of Nitrite in Beverages Samples Through Micellar Improved Catalytic Kinetic Spectrophotometry
In this study, a simple and sensitive catalytic kinetic spectrophotometry method for determination of nitrite has been described. The method is based on the oxidation of chlorpromazine by nitrite in presence of mixed sur...
Investigation of Magnetic Field Response Features of Multilayer CoFe on Kapton Tape
Multilayer magneto-response cells (MMRC) fabricated on a non-magnetic layer among ferromagnetic [Fe65Co35]5/Cu/[Fe65Co35]5 on a flexible substrate (Kapton tape) have been studied by using electron microscopy, X-ray diffr...
