Areas of improvement of appeal proceeding in Ukraine

Abstract
The work deals with research of factors influencing the efficiency of the appellate proceedings in Ukraine and the formulation of normatively legal and organizational directions for its improvement. The author has concluded that the effectiveness of the implementation of appeal proceedings is influenced by a large number of factors (sociological, legal, social, psychological, organizational, procedural, etc.); 2) improvement of the implementation of appeal proceedings - the activities of the competent state bodies aimed at improving the current legislation in accordance with the development of legal relationships and the development of optimal solutions and methods to achieve a better outcome of the appeal proceedings in order to increase its efficiency; 3) There are regulatory and organizational directions for improving the implementation of the appeal proceedings; 4) normative-legal directions of improving the implementation of the appeal proceedings are aimed at improving the existing Criminal Procedural Law and departmental legal acts by amending them in relation to improving the efficiency of the implementation of appeal proceedings in criminal proceedings; 5) the organizational directions for improving the implementation of the appeal proceedings are aimed at developing optimal solutions and methods for achieving a better outcome of the appeal proceedings; 6) in order to increase the effectiveness of the appellate proceedings in criminal proceedings, it is necessary first of all to make changes to the CPC of Ukraine concerning the limits of the appeal procedure and the procedure for conducting an appeal proceeding.
