ARTICLE AS GENRE OF JOURNALISM

Abstract
Genre form affects the outcome of communication and remains relevant for scientific studies. Article — a common genre of periodicals. A large number of scientific studies have been written about the article, but there are some underestimations in the theory of this genre form. The idea of a small article is inadequate. The refinement needs explanation of the name of the genre. The term article has foreign-language roots and is translated as a member, a joint, part of the whole; In this sense, in our opinion, the word was introduced for the needs of the legislative sphere, the article became part of the document. The title of the article is also related to the basis of gender, which can mean the correct, proportional structure of an object or person; So we can say that the basis of the sex indicates the clarity of the presentation of the opinion in the article of a journalist, a publicist. Often, the signs of an article are likely to be specific to other genres, including correspondence. Correspondence and article have such common features as structure, style, volume, which complicate the distinction between these two genre forms. To distinguish the genre of journalism, an important subject and method of research, as well as a message function. The author of the article is concentrated in the world of ideas, he is called the leader of thoughts. The subject of the article is a social problem; The author of the article logically investigates a series of related and interrelated facts, traces the patterns of social life, offers an option to solve the problem. The author of the correspondence investigates a single, limited place and time fact, interprets a substantive event; He visits the place of the event, finds out, time, circumstances, involved people, guilty, etc., uses the chronological method to study the event. In the structure of the article, one or another statement can be presented in the form of a triad: thesis — argument — conclusion or thesis — antithesis — synthesis. The presentation of the article involves three components of its construction: introduction, main part and conclusions.
