Artificial Intelligence in Gaming

Abstract
Artificial intelligence AI is the intelligence exhibited by an artificial entity, generally assumed to be a computer. It has been involved with gaming since day one. It is progressively being widely used in the gaming industry. AI in games is commonly used for creating players opponents. It is the foundation of all video games. Games like Nim, checkers, or chess took advantage of smart algorithms to beat human players. AI based games are based on a finite set of actions or reactions whose sequence can be easily predicted by expert players.
