ASSESMENT OF THE SUITABILITY OF INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE POPULATED LOCALITIES THAT ARE INVOLVED IN ASSISTANCE TO DITCHING VICTIMS

Abstract
Purpose. To isolate and explore the influence of factors that represent elements of infrastructure that are common to most populated areas and which can be recruited when it is necessary to provide assistance to victims in case of aircraft ditching. Methodology. The research has been conducted by using the method of expert evaluation, namely, pair comparison. Results. The result of the investigation is providing the factors of weighting coefficients that reflects the suitability of infrastructure elements of populated localities to assist the victims. Originality. For the first time, a number of factors that are characteristic for populated localities and by means of which it is possible to assist victims of forced landing of the aircraft on the water surface have been received the list of factors includes forces, means of rescue and constructions. Practical value. The resulting list of factors and their weight coefficients will be taken into account when developing the method of selecting the optimal place for the forced landing of the aircraft on the water surface.
