Assessment of Multi Parameters of Water Quality in Surface Water Bodies-A Review
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 8
Abstract
The various Physico–Chemical and Biological parameters such as Water temperature, pH, EC, TDS, DO, COD,BOD, Chloride, Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Calcium and Magnesium, Sulphate, Nitrate, Nitrogen as Ammonia, Nitrogen as Nitrate and Nitrogen as Nitrite are discussed and studied in this paper. The objective of study was to know the important water quality parameters for Drinking, Irrigation and Aquatic life i.e. multipurpose from surface water bodies. Various researchers explained their views about water quality parameters that are explained below. From this study it will seen that ,all parameters are equally important but some are the broad range and simple field parameters in surface water bodies such as Water Temperature, pH , EC,TDS, DO, COD, BOD etc. those are covered maximum water quality for different purposes.

Enhancement of Lifetime Using Network Coding and Duty Cycle at Wireless Sensor Network
Network lifetime is a critical issue in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In which, a large number of sensor nodes communicate together to perform a predetermined sensing task. In such networks, the network life time dep...
A Review – Shear and Pullout behaviours of steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete on Elevated Temperature
This paper presents the study of the shear and pullout behaviours of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) with partial replacements of fine aggregate with copper slag subjected to elevated temperature. Since the shear...
Direct Torque Control of BLDC Drives for Electrical Vehicle Application
Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are commonly used for several industrial applications because of their small size, high torque and high efficiency . This paper presents a Direct torque Control of brushless DC (BLDC) drive by...
Cluster Based Routing With Isolated Nodes in WSN
In designing a cluster based routing in WSN, formation of clusters plays a vital role. The poor design of cluster formation algorithm results in isolated nodes. The data sensed by the isolated nodes should be transmitte...
Analysis on Synthesis, Storage & Combustion characteristics of DME as fuel in CI engines
This article reviews on various methods of production of Di-Methyl Ether (DME) avail in present scenario, its storage difficulties and the reasons for holding DME still under research as an alternative fuel. The demand...
