Assessment of the police officer profile in the post-agreement era in Colombia

Journal Title: RHS-Revista Humanismo y Sociedad - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 2

Abstract

Currently, after the peace agreement was signed between the Colombian government and the FARC-EP, Colombia is going through a historic moment that will certainly bring about changes, both directly and indirectly, for its public institutions as well as in the training process of its officials. Through data-based theory and based on prospect theory, this research shows the need to make changes in the profile of the police officers who must fulfill their role in the post-agreement era. The result of this initial phase was a new profile which will be later validated by experts.
