ASSOCIATIVE-VERBAL MODEL OF THE CONCEPT HUMAN BEING

Abstract
The article represents the experience of the analysis of the concept human being and the peculiarities of its linguistic objectification. The author identifies cognitive features of the concept human being by using data from a free associative experiment. The study has explored peculiarities of functioning among such categories as «concept», «conceptual sphere», and «conceptual analysis» in modern linguistics. On the basis of this analysis the working definitions of these terms are proposed. The paper determines the semantic core of the conceptual field concept human being. The study describes the associativeverbal (cognitive) model of conceptual sphere human being based on the results of a sporadic associative experiment performed during 2015-2016 among the students at Melitopol State pedagogical Institute after Bohdan Khmelnitski.
