Journal Title: Sport Mont - Year 2005, Vol 0, Issue 8

Abstract

Fitness activities, that is, fitness programs, have become very popular both among young people, and among the middle aged persons as well as the old aged ones. There are many reasons to practice some of fitness programs, but according to the fitness definition, the basic one should be: to be in good condition, to function well in everyday life and work, to be healthy, to be in good mood, to live a high quality life, all that by exercising. How does the one who practices experience some of the fitness programs, why does the one exercise in a certain fitness club, what else apart from exercising, influences a healthy way of living, does one get any more knowledge about fitness during and after exercising and so on, are only some of the questions that need to be answered by the one who exercises. The researche was conducted by the scale of claims of Likert’s type on the sample of 150 female and male ones who exercise in some of Novi Sad and Belgrade fitness clubs.
