AUTHORIZED BODY IN THE FIELD OF PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: FOREIGN EXPERIENCE

Abstract
World practice in the field of protecting information rights of the individual proves the widespread creation of specialized agencies that would handle these issues. The scope of protection of personal information is closely linked to the information sphere, as well as to the sphere of private (personal and family) life, privacy. That is why such a body, specializing in the protection of personal information, may have wider competences, protect the privilege as a whole or have competence in the area of protecting the right to access public information.
