AUTOMATED BALLISTIC INFORMATION SYSTEM «ТAIS»

Abstract
The question about the need for ALIS „TAIS” in the forensic units of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine, which allows the expert to effectively work with large databases, significantly improve the quality and accuracy of ballistic studies to accelerate verification for the array of bullets and shell casings seized from places unsolved crimes, adding to array and checking firearms seized, facilities permit system and the police service weapon.
